Juniper Village at Aurora wants to thank all service members, not just today, but every day!
In the USA, Veterans Day annually falls on November 11th. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War 1 hostilities between Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Veterans are thanked for their service to the United States on Veterans Day. We all joined together as we honored our Juniper Village at Aurora service members, and all members to remember the sacrifices they have made and the courage it takes to defend honor, duty, and our country. Friday, November 8th we had Seasons Hospice at our community for a pinning ceremony, patriotic songs, and gave out American pillows to all service members. Residents shared their stories when they were in service. Monday, November 11th we had a patriotic entertainer, and had Namaste’ Hospice come to honor our residents as well.
