The whole Connections Department of Juniper Village at the Spearly Center walked proudly at the NAMI Colorado Walk on May 18th, 2019.

This year’s walk marked 17 years of NAMI Walks, the nation’s largest mental health awareness and fundraising event for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a non-profit organization providing services to those in need. More than $156,000 was raised by the 947 participants in the NAMI Colorado Walk, the theme of which was Heroes Without Capes and Changing Minds One Step At A Time. The mission of NAMI Colorado is to build communities of recovery and hope by educating, supporting and advocating for individuals affected by mental illness and their families.

The Juniper Village at the Spearly Center team was left speechless by the amount of support received during their walk. Thank you to all who joined us whether in person or in spirit!
