Lebanon Stays Active with Indoor Bocce

At Juniper Village at Lebanon, embracing new experiences adds to the richness and joy of life! Often, we’ll find that someone is trying something for the first time – such as Hiroko, who recently learned how to play Bocce. This sport originated in Italy, and it is essentially a form of lawn bowling. With colder temperatures in the forecast, we’ve adapted the game for indoors. We also like to keep everyone on their toes by changing up the rules. Even those who have played Bocce before have never played it Juniper-style, which everyone agrees is a lot of fun! Of course, in addition to the health benefits of exercise, a little friendly competition is good for the spirit.
