October is German-American Heritage Month, in commemoration of 13 German families emigrating from Krefeld in 1683. At Juniper Village at Forest Hills, we celebrated by sharing about German heritage and learning to sing “Schnitzelbank” – a well known, German folk song! The party was topped off with a round of German beer and pretzels. “Prost!”
