We have all been watching our Juniper Village at Lebanon raised garden plot closely for any signs of produce, when suddenly we noticed one ripe cherry tomato! There weren’t any other tomatoes on the plant, not even green ones, so we were all excited to actually be able to harvest a tomato! Here is Arlene with our prize, but no one wanted to be the first to eat it! We asked everyone if they thought a tomato was a fruit or a vegetable. The room was divided 50-50 on that, but according to our laptop, a tomato is a fruit that is considered to be a vegetable by nutritionists. So we’re still confused on that!
