Christmas Rescue

Early on the morning of Christmas Eve at Juniper Village at Lebanon, we received several reports of a little black dog being sited around our parking lot.

When staff approached the dog, he ran off looking very frightened. We then looked on the Facebook site called Find Toby. There were two dogs missing in our area, but we didn’t get a good enough look at the dog to know if it was one of these two or not. Then around noon a group of teenagers, who had been outdoors, came over to Juniper Village wondering if the little dog they had just found could possibly belong to someone here. He wasn’t ours, but we knew he might be one of the two on Facebook, so with a little detective work from our staff, we were able to reunite Ralphy with his worried owner! The residents and staff were watching the drama unfold through the living room windows.  Ralphy was jumping for joy and barking in delight as he left with his family.  Such a happy ending for Christmas Eve!
