Cindy Longfellow

Vice President, Business Development, Sales and Marketing

Cindy is responsible for providing marketing and sales support for all of our Juniper Communities.

She works directly with our community based teams to strengthen our community outreach and promote external business development. Cindy’s goal has always been to maintain our mission and values within an ever-changing sales, marketing, healthcare environment.

Cindy joined Juniper Communities in September 2003 as the Director of Community Relations at Juniper Village at Louisville. She assumed the position of Regional Director of Community Relations for the Colorado communities in November of 2008.

In November of 2010, she was promoted to National Director of Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for oversight of all Juniper buildings. In that role, her responsibilities expanded to include: developing and implementing sales training/coaching programs, expanding and honing sales and marketing key performance indicators and related data collection tools, developing and managing web and social media presence for Juniper Communities.

In fall of 2015, Cindy was promoted to Vice President of New Business Development. Her new position is a recognition of the changing landscape of seniors housing in general and sales and marketing within that space specifically.

Cindy has been instrumental in Juniper's growth and financial success since 2010. She has championed our transition to digital and on-line marketing over the past five years.

Cindy has over 30 years experience in health care and related services, which includes 17 plus years experience specifically in the senior living industry. Her experience has included work both in marketing and operations within these organizations. Cindy is a certified assisted living director in the state of Colorado and has a BA in psychology from the University of Minnesota. She currently serves on the board of directors of SMASH (Senior Care Sales and Marketing Summit).  

Cindy has been married for 32 years and has a daughter, Tara, who is a writer and educator, and a son, Sam, who is a physician. She enjoys spoiling her two grand-sons and hiking and biking the Colorado mountains with her husband, Gary.
