There’s nothing quite like getting your hands in the dirt and smelling that unique earthy aroma of freshly turned soil! Resident Ruth Hartman was thrilled to be able to help dig the holes in our raised bed using a long-handled trowel. She didn’t even mind finding numerous earthworms, which is a sign of good soil! We planted a row of various herbs and vegetable plants. Then we added a row of marigolds in front, which is supposed to keep out garden pests. We are all hoping that works!
