Recently a group of Juniper Village at Lebanon residents visited the Humane Society of Lebanon County for a morning of “pet therapy”!
We brought along a bag of cat toys that were made by our residents during craft class, and one cat regaled everyone by climbing right into the bag with all of the toys! Here you can see Ralph playing with that kitten after he climbed out of the bag using one of the toys that we made. There are still many cats and dogs who need homes. We learned that the Humane Society has a great need for several items such as Dawn dish detergent (lavender scent), bleach, kitten chow and kitty litter. So even if you can’t adopt a pet right now, you can still help out by stopping by with one of these items, or you can give them to us, and we will take them along on our next visit. (We are looking for an excuse to go back again soon!)
