In the morning, a bake sale was held where a variety of homemade goodies donated by the staff and family members were sold. Our resident volunteer Jackie Browne was quite a salesman for this worthy cause that brought in $93. At lunchtime, with the leadership of Raymond, our Dietary Director, Juniper Village created the longest Hero Sandwich that was donated to the Williamstown community. To top off the first day of summer and the longest day of the year, our local favorite “Mister Softee” Ice Cream truck stopped by for a visit where everyone enjoyed the soft serve ice cream treat with a twist of chocolate and vanilla. Everyone at Juniper Village Williamstown joined in the fun while raising money for this worthy cause.
