We love musical theatre at Juniper Village at Brookline.
So when Adam Swartz and Kathy Morrow approached us about their students performing a new musical on our campus, we were thrilled. But this particular program came with a twist – it featured original puppets hand-crafted by students at their annual Puppet Camp! Performing “Cheese: The Musical”, students brought their puppets to life – singing, dancing, and entertaining the enthusiastic crowd. After their performance, the students graciously took a Q&A session from the audience and talked about the imaginative planning that went into the creation of each puppet. The mission of Adam Swartz Puppets is “to make the world a better place: safer, kinder, more understanding, more accepting, cleaner, happier, more thoughtful and creative.” Thank you Adam, Kathy, and students for sharing all of these things with us through the magic of puppetry.
