A few months ago, residents donated over 300 pounds of food to the local food bank. This summer, residents set their sights on the Purple Heart Foundation. The Purple Heart Foundation is a congressionally chartered organization which provides supportive services to veterans and their families. We were introduced to the Foundation through resident, Jan Phillips. Jan is passionate about helping others, and she knew that Juniper Village at Brookline residents would rise to the challenge to help veterans. Residents were able to donate a staggering 40+ bags of clothing and household items to the Purple Heart Foundation to be distributed to veterans in need.
