Since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Juniper has taken significant measures to reduce the risk for infection in our communities. This includes following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the state regulatory bodies for Colorado, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
What does this mean? Below is a sample of some precautions being taken at Juniper.
We have also begun to test residents and associates at our communities. Due to the challenges in obtaining sufficient tests, this is being done over the course of about two weeks, community by community. The results of these tests allow us to begin doing staff and resident cohorting, or grouping, based on those results as well as other risk factors.
