On Saturday, August 31st, the town of Forest Hills celebrated their 100 year anniversary with a Centennial Community Parade.
The parade, which ran for 3 miles from Woodland Hills High School to the new Forest Hills Boro building on Greensburg Pike, featured a variety of Forest Hills businesses, floats and local area marching bands. Juniper Village at Forest Hills staff and residents were honored to participate in the parade. Residents rode inside the van, while staff members walked along outside distributing candy and treats to the onlookers. The Centennial Committee also recognized Juniper Village at Forest Hills’ 102 year old resident Nellle E. with a special Centennial plaque. As you can see, everyone had a great time celebrating Forest Hills’ 100 years!
