Residents at Juniper Village at Lebanon were treated to a special presentation of antique coverlets by environmental services director Steve Heller recently.
Steve has been collecting these antique throws for the past six years, and now he has six coverlets in mint condition from several different locations in Lebanon and Berks Counties. Several coverlets have signature blocks that show that they were made in the early 1800s. The workmanship is outstanding! It was fun to hear the history of weaving in our area. We are looking forward to his next visit in February on a totally different subject: butter!
