Juniper Village at Meadville

World Health Day – “Health for All”

Residents and the community didn’t let the rainy weather stop them from celebrating World Health Day at Juniper Village at Meadville.

The event that was scheduled to be on the front lawn of the community, was moved in doors to the Grand Ballroom.  Friends were delighted with the event and enjoyed Mindful Meditation by Lakeland Hospice, Yoga by Valerie Prosser , Genesis Therapy with Cardio boost, Chair Massages provided by Greg Brink , and Blood Pressure Screening by Juniper Village, followed by a healthy complimentary lunch and sampling of the Eldercraft Brew beer, which is brewed on-site at Juniper with assistance by the residents.  Attendees had the opportunity to win a variety of fitness prizes, such as, walking pedometers, water bottles, umbrellas and gift cards to subway.

Our thanks to all that attended the event, we hope you will join us on May 29th at 10:30 for National Health and Fitness Day at Roche Park, for more information on the event, give us a call at 814-333-4400.
