Wings over the Rockies Museum Tour

Juniper Village at Louisville residents had the pleasure of touring the Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum!

Our residents were in awe of all of the aircraft and history that we saw.  We reminisced about war times and fun times flying around. In 1994, a group of volunteers turned the Lowry Air Force Base into the Wings over the Rockies air and space museum.  It is located in Hanger 1 of the former air force base.  The hangar is an astonishing 182,000 square feet of space and there are over 50 iconic aircraft dating from 1939 to 1990.
