Juniper Village at Brookline

(Tiny) Horse Power

Juniper Village at Brookline’s Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation building had a very special experience when a tiny friend came to visit.

Rosie, a gentle and curious miniature horse, greeted people in the Greenspace Courtyard. Rosie is not just any petite pony – she is specially trained in equine therapy and is one of the “Hope Horses” at Rising Hope Therapeutic Riding Center in Bellefonte. Horses have long been known for their therapeutic characteristics and healing nature. They have the power to fill our spirits, bring a smile, or calm our nerves – simply by being in their presence. At Juniper Village at Brookline, we believe in nurturing the spirit of life by providing unique and memorable experiences, like the visit with Rosie. Stop in for a visit! We’d love to meet you. #WhereLifeIsFound
