Juniper Village at Lebanon

The Zoo Comes to Juniper

We were fortunate to be able to link into feeding time for the giraffes at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens recently at Juniper Village at Lebanon.  Residents enjoyed seeing a mother giraffe and her two babies up close and personal.  This was probably the closest any of us had actually been to a live giraffe.  It was so realistic that resident Paul Hirlinger couldn’t help but reach out his hand to try and touch the baby giraffe!  Since giraffes are the mascot for Juniper Village for many reasons, this particular Home Safari was especially meaningful.
