Applewood Place Assisted Living

The Art Gallery Experience

Throughout the month of February, Applewood Place, A Juniper Senior Living Community, has been hosting visiting artists to share their work with us, give an artist talk about their work and background, and meet our residents.

The artists invited are established Denver creatives working in a variety of mediums, including photography, paint, fiber, and metal. Each week, residents gather to enjoy each other’s company and learn something new about art, right in their own home!

This week, our visiting artist is K. Lynn Bennett, a celebrated fiber artist who uses archaeology to develop her work. She was kind enough to offer some small pieces for free to lucky residents who won a raffle drawing! Here, one winner Carol poses proudly with her new art acquisition.
