RESPECT

Aretha Franklin, the singer-songwriter of the 1960’s famously sang the iconic soul song Respect. Taking Miss Franklin’s words to heart, we here at Juniper Communities are committed to providing our associates with a wonderful place to work, so much so that the company has a Signature Program focused just on associates, R.E.S.P.E.C.T. The RESPECT program was put in place to help foster associate welfare and spirit. Each campus within Juniper Communities has been tasked with showing their commitment to associate wellbeing in their own unique and special way.

In keeping with the spirit of Aretha Franklin, the Juniper Village at Brookline Rehabilitation and Skilled Care has used the month of November to Give Thanks for their amazing team of associates. Throughout the month, Associates were encouraged to place a “Juniper Berry” on the Berry Board in order to identify an associate, or department, for whom they are thankful. A “Thankful Tree” was also placed in the associate breakroom for associates to share what they are most thankful for in their lives. A Thanksgiving potluck was held for all associates where donations were collected in order to be donated to the local foodbank. Throughout the year, Juniper Village at Brookline recognizes associates in a variety of ways including work anniversary gift bags full of treats, birthday cards sent from the Administrator, an associate of the month/quarter/year, as well as many giveaways and gatherings throughout the year. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. is just another way that Juniper Village nurtures the spirit of life for their associates, today and every day!
