Juniper Village at Bucks County

Ready, Set, Relay!

The start of a new year always brings a time for reflection and plans for the months ahead. A commitment to getting together for quality time with family and friends is usually a common goal. That opportunity for engaging with our loved ones and peers while doing something inspiring has arrived.

We are proud to announce that for 2020, Juniper Village is partnering with Relay For Life, which is The American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser dedicated to helping make a difference in the fight against cancer. Starting in February Juniper will be hosting one Relay For Life event per month.

Relay For Life will not only bring our community together to honor those who bravely fought but unfortunately lost their battles with cancer, but also provide inspiration to the thousands of survivors and their families who have endured their own fight.

These events are truly inspirational. The day begins with a Survivor’s Lap, where survivors are honored by participants in support of their courageous fight. One of the most inspiring moments occurs during the Luminaria Ceremony where everyone has the opportunity to light a candle and take a few moments to honor a loved one who has won their fight against cancer, or in remembrance of a special someone who lost their battle

The funds raised by Juniper Village will go to much needed support groups for patients and their families, and ultimately cover expenses ranging from cancer research to free rides for treatment.

Please support this great cause with Juniper Village. The dates for our upcoming Relay For Life events are:

Feb 19th at 6:45 pm

March 18th at 6:45 pm

April 15th at 6:45 pm

May 20th at 6:45 pm

June 17th at 6:45 pm
