Juniper Village at Forest Hills resident was recently honored with a Quilt of Valor.

Todd DePastino, Executive Director for the Veteran’s Breakfast Club of Pittsburgh, presented Juniper Village at Forest Hills resident and Vietnam Veteran, John “Jack” Naughton with a Quilt of Valor.  Quilts of Valor are beautiful handmade patchwork quilts that are made by members of the Quilts of Valor Foundation from Allison Park, PA. The Quilts of Valor Foundation creates quilts to provide comfort and healing for service members and veterans touched by war.  Mr. Naughton was a Marine with the 1st Marines, 3rd Marine Division that sustained casualties in the World War II Battle of iwo Jima.
