Quilled Valentines

Quilling is the art of curling strips of paper into tight, medium or loose spirals, and then forming designs.  This ancient art form has been around as long as we’ve had paper, and it really became popular with upper class ladies in the 18th century.  But even monks and nuns were known to use quilling to decorate the covers of books and other artifacts.  So the residents of Juniper at Lebanon were in good company as they created some very special Valentines using this time-honored technique.
