Summer of 2019 The Spearly Center partnered up with Linger, a highly sought-after local Denver restaurant, to create our a community garden. Linger is known for their fresh, seasonal, high quality farm to table like dining. We call this project Linger Community Garden. Produce that was grown in our Linger Community Garden is used as Linger’s “family meals.” “Family meals” are meals that are prepared by the chefs for their workers to enjoy before the day begins. We have greatly enjoyed this partnership with Linger and look forward to what’s to come in our Linger Community Garden for summer 2020! Pictured here we have Administrator Sue Pappas’ son Alex. Alex, and brother Eli as well have been the masterminds behind this community garden. We are so thankful for all their hard work and especially their green thumbs! Alex and Eli go above and beyond to make this garden beautiful and the produce happy and healthy. Not only does Spearly feature a community garden, but flowers are planted throughout the grounds for residents to enjoy.
