The Mummers Parade is held each New Year’s Day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

It is believed to be the oldest folk festival in the United States. Local clubs, usually called “New Year’s Associations”, compete in one of four categories (comics, fancies, string bands, and fancy brigades). Elaborate costumes, performance routines, and moveable scenery, which take months to complete are hallmarks of this wildly fun event.

Juniper Village at Bucks County was thrilled to participate in our own way this year when we were graced with The “All Star Mummers” who made a grand entrance in The 32 Club.  Their opening act commenced in great fashion with glamorous costumes, outstanding music and  grand march in the restaurant. This highlighted event captured a regional theme of the Mummers – as they led a Mardi Gras style parade through the halls, to the Oak Lounge for a final act.  Philly tradition and Philly fun at Juniper Village at Bucks County! We invite you to join us for all the fun at Juniper by calling 215-752-2370. You won’t want to miss a thing!
