Juniper Village at Mount Joy

Movement for Mood

Engaging in exercise can reduce anxiety and depression, improve mood, boost self-esteem and minimize stress. That’s why we’re staying active at Juniper Village at Mount Joy. Daily exercise continues with in room and hallway Silverfit, an Otago-based program, hall ball, hallway bowling and more. Recently we introduced a new program, REfresh and Be Happy. In this movement and mindfulness program we combine our signature REfresh program with increased movement to music. “All Shook Up”, “Twist & Shout”, “Happy” and other energizing tunes set the stage as we move and groove with fun dance-inspired exercises. Associates from all departments contribute and put the “fun” in functional movement!
