Looking to mix things up a little? Join us as Eliza, one of our fantastic servers, hosts a mixology class at Juniper Village at Bucks County featuring a new cocktail every Saturday in our new Oak Lounge.

Food historians write that the Scarlett O’ Hara Cocktail was either created for the opening of “Gone With The Wind” in 1939 or by Ocean Spray in the 1950s to promote their cranberry juice. Whatever the origin it has been popular for years. Try it at home!

Recipe for the Scarlett O’ Hara: 3 ounces Southern Comfort, 1.5 cups cranberry juice, 1.5 tablespoons lime juice, 1 cup cracked ice, 1/2 peeled peach.

In covered container, blend all ingredients except peach at high speed until frothy. Strain into cocktail glass over 1/4 peach.

This is the perfect drink for any Southern Belle and especially popular to have at Thanksgiving – a fun twist on the cranberry theme.
