Juniper Village at Meadville

Meadville Mounts Their Own County Fair!

Residents and associates at Juniper Village in Meadville enjoyed National Assisted Living Week with a celebration of an on-site created County Fair! Many residents and several staff displayed their hand-crafted goods in our Home Show Building in the Col. Walker Room. Winners were awarded ribbons in their respective categories. We had an arcade-style experience step up in the Shryock Dining Room—games, popcorn and cotton candy were enjoyed all week long. Outdoor events included musical concerts, Farm Animal exhibits, Miniature Animal Parade, Dog Parade and Show. The final outdoor attraction was an Antique Car Show with county fair-style Hot Sausage and Steak Sandwiches. Each day the in-house menu featured fair-themed meals all week long and a farm cart with country-style, edible offerings visited residents’ rooms. What a grand week it was!
