Recently, the residents from Juniper Village at Forest Hills visited a local chicken farm!

Local Forest Hills resident, Elizabeth Donahue invited the residents to visit her home and meet with her domesticated chickens.  Elizabeth who was instrumental in the recent passing of legislation permitting Chickens in the Borough of Forest Hills, provided educational information about the benefits of raising chickens in a rural community, and discussed the daily care needed for a happy healthy flock of egg producing chickens.
