Juniper Village at Brookline

Life Lessons with Mimi

Juniper Village at Brookline was thrilled to host Mimi Barash Coppersmith for a dinner and discussion featuring her autobiography: EAT FIRST, CRY LATER.

Mimi spoke to a packed house, sharing life lessons and reflections as a CEO, mother, philanthropist, champion for women in leadership, and institution of the State College region. The event was a special highlight for members of the Juniper book club, which read her memoir earlier this spring. When asked to give advice to young female leaders at Juniper, Mimi quoted words from Winston Churchill: “Never, never, never give up.” She also encouraged women to speak their minds. Thank you, Mimi, for being a trailblazer and inspiration to all generations!
