Juniper Village at Lebanon was keeping cool during a heat wave in some creative ways.

We recently experienced a heat wave in Lebanon where we reached temperatures of 110 degrees.  During the hottest days, we just stayed inside and even invited people from the community to join us for lemonade in our wonderful air-conditioned buildings.  When the temperatures finally started going down, we went to the front porch for a good old-fashioned squirt gun battle!  Some people were enjoying this far too much.  No one was safe who dared enter or exit our front door!  But everyone appreciated being a little bit wet to get cooled off, especially our med tech Wendy!
