Juniper’s Got Talent!

This Spring, Juniper Village at Lebanon took a cue from a popular TV show and held “Juniper’s Got Talent” right here in our own dining room!  And, boy, do we have Talent!!

There were nine acts involving 11 performers.  The acts included singing, dancing, playing the ukulele, performing magic, and there were two violinists!  Contestants included a resident, family members of staff and residents, and family friends.  There were five very serious judges, which included Linda (associate), Marsha (family member and volunteer), Betty (resident), Helen (President of the Resident Council), and Fred ( resident and PEER/Ambassador).  They had a very tough time coming up with just one winner out of this impressive lineup of talent, but after much deliberation, they awarded the first place prize of a $50 Gift Card to Brook Liskey, a relative of our Business Office Manager, Shannon Roof.  Brook, who is 9 years old, played “Jesus Loves Me” on the violin.  The room was standing room only, and everyone enjoyed the variety of talent and the buzz of excitement until the winner was revealed.  We hope to do this again soon, so polish up your act and join us next time!
