Local musicians and sisters, Laurie Haines Reese and Tish Haines Brown brought joy to our ears this past Sunday with the holiday stylings of their music students. The second annual Juniper Christmas Recital created a wonderful opportunity for young musicians to share the product of countless hours of practice and study. Such favorites as “Hark the Herald Angles Sing” and “We Wish you a Merry Christmas” filled the air from fingertips of tiny pianists and the steady bows of cellists. Our very own Connections Director, Renee Lentz, joined in on piano and vocals with Tish, violin and Laurie, cello for a few Christmas tunes as well. An eclectic array of Christmas cookies made the afternoon just that much more delicious! Thank you to all of the participants for a lovely show!
