Applewood Place Assisted Living

Introducting: The Medical Lounge

As part of our precautionary response to COVID-19, Applewood Place has fashioned a Medical Lounge for our residents by re-purposing our front Atrium. This allows for residents to attend our rounding medical services and also eliminates the necessity for our essential providers to enter the main community. The Medical Lounge allows for patient privacy, social distancing per the CDC, and an opportunity to access our on-site primary care in a scenic setting. The lounge is cleaned and disinfected after each visit. Holding medical appointments in this setting is exceeding the standard set by the CDC, and is also proving to be quite the morale boost for our residents!
