“The Best Friend” approach to care is an internationally recognized model that proves relationship-based, person-centered care makes a tremendous difference in creating meaningful & fulfilling days for our memory care residents. We understand that relationships grow by learning a person’s life story, so we listen intently to our residents and take an interest in who they are. Before admission we gather details that make up their lives, such as what occupations, family members, travels, hobbies and milestones filled their years and remain in their memories. Building strong relationships allows us to provide the best one-on-one care to our residents, ensuring they enjoy meaningful, life-affirming days.
Resident’s also have an opportunity to connect with one another through our programming and unique engaged life experiences. Sonia and Eleanor are neighbors in our Wellspring neighborhood and have become great friends as well! These ladies enjoy winding down each and every day by chatting on their “stoop”. Community life is so much better when you have great friends to be with .
