On Monday, February 24th, the residents of Juniper Village at Forest Hills decided to take a mental break from the colorless winter days and brighten up the month with a tropical FLAMINGLE party! The residents gathered at colorfully decorated tables where all of the ladies had a beautiful lei to don and the men had sailor hats and sunglasses to sport. Then the Connections staff got to serving the party specials: Hawaiian ham sandwiches with Thousand Island Dressing, Pink Fluff Salad and Strawberry Lemonade. After enjoying the food, the residents had a chance to win prizes by participating in a few games, including “Pinning The Beak on the Baby Flamingo,” after which the grand prize winner received a musical, light-up palm tree decoration! The residents also got pictures in front of some festive props to top of the fun of the day. A great time was had by all!
