Adorned with hats and headpieces, the residents enjoyed many specialty food items, such as Mediterranean Egg Salad tea sandwiches, Grinch elf skewers of fruit, sandwiches of smoked ham, brie and green apples, tomato pesto tarts, holiday cookies, and “mugs of cocoa” made with candy canes and marshmallows. The tea was seasonal too: Gingersnap, eggnog and peppermint bark. It’s a tradition we intend to keep every Christmas Eve.
