Juniper Village at Mount Joy

Dog Days of Summer

A hush fell over the crowd in Juniper Village at Mount Joy promptly at 2:00 pm as the esteemed judges took their seats.

Miss Grace Giddyup, Mr. Bucky Bow Wow and Ms. Mim Maltese were ready to evaluate this year’s contestants. It was time for Pets on Parade! This year’s lineup included 7 dogs of various breeds and one miniature pony. Competing for titles of “Most Obedient”, “Best Trickster” and “Best in Show”, each participant came dressed in their best, showed off their skills and loved up on the audience. Cavalier King Charles, Skye took home “Best Trickster” for the third year in a row, completing her hat trick. Simon showed that he always does what his handler says, bringing in “Most Obedient”. Wowing the judges and the crowd with his mellow behavior and jovial personality, Regis, the miniature pony won “Best in Show”. No one went home empty pawed however, as treats, toys and tons of affection showered every participant. Thank you KPETS for once again sharing your time and tails!
