Cooking Demo Showcases Local Ingredients

Cooking demonstration showcases local ingredients at Juniper Village at Bucks County

David Ritter, our talented Director of Dining Services, conducted a delicious cooking demo with this month’s theme: Farmer’s Market.  David provided his audience a step-by-step preparation of some tasty treats that were made with locally sourced ingredients.  The tasting menu started with bread and butter pickles from Zayda’s Pickle Company of Philadelphia, PA.  Next, we tried a delectable cheese tortellini from P&S Ravioli Company, accompanied by black olives, oven-dried tomatoes, and extra virgin olive oil. David finished his demo on a sweet note featuring a trail mix made up of toasted oats, nuts, dried cranberries, coconut, and chocolate chips.  Everyone enjoyed watching, and most importantly, sampling these wonderful dishes!
