Juniper Village at Brookline

Congrats PEER Graduates

Congratulations to residents at Juniper Village at Brookline who recently graduated from Pennsylvania’s Empowered Expert Residents (PEER) certification program.

The PEER program is offered through the Pennsylvania Department on Aging and is a partnership between residents, associates, and the local ombudsman. PEERs are trained to support, advocate for, and empower their fellow residents in long-term care communities. Special thanks to Susan Radis, volunteer Ombudsman, for leading this 5-week intensive course at Juniper. At Juniper, it is our mission to nurture the spirit of life in every individual we touch. Thank you to our PEERs whose important work and advocacy helps us in achieving that mission!
