Juniper Village at Brookline

Centre County “Sponsor a Window” Program Comes to Juniper

Thanks to a nearby neighbor of Juniper Village at Brookline, our residents will have even more opportunities for bird watching! Stephenie Brentner (pictured), who lives across the street from Juniper, is a member of the “Sponsor a Window Bird Feeder Project” Group on Facebook. Stephenie reached out to her neighbors, wondering if there was a spot to share a bird feeder.

“Sponsor a Window” is a project funded by a 3 Dots Awesome Grant, and provides all the supplies community members need to place and maintain a bird feeding station in a senior living community. Founded by Cindy Way, the group hopes to share the joy of bird watching and make connections with community members who reside in senior living communities – especially during this time of social distancing in light of COVID.

For anyone interested in sponsoring a bird feeder at Juniper or at another senior living community in Centre County, please join the Facebook group or email mrs.csway@gmail.com.

At Juniper Village at Brookline, we relish in our beautiful outdoor spaces — for bird watching, views of Mount Nittany, gardening, and so much more. Email Sarah.Gority@JuniperCommunities.com to schedule an outdoor tour of our campus!
