Every February at Applewood Place we celebrate love through visual arts. Again, visiting artists were invited to showcase their craft at Friday afternoon happy hour. This year, local artist Adrienne DeLoe captivated our residents with her “InsectScapes.” Everyone loved the oddity of these pieces which are done using an acrylic pour and real insects which have been rehydrated and then sealed into the paintings.
