Juniper Village at Mount Joy

All the Goodness, None of the Guilt

After splurging with our National Donut Day celebration we decided to find a healthier alternative to that doughy delight.

The Juniper Village at Mount Joy Wellness team dished up Apple Donuts this week during their monthly Baketivity. Associates guided residents through coring and circular slicing of fresh, crisp apples. Next, they chose from a variety of tasty toppings; dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, honey, walnuts…and a few sprinkles for color and fun. Healthy or not, a donut deserves sprinkles!
