Juniper Village at Brookline

A Year in Review

As 2019 ends, it is a wonderful time to reflect on the amazing team at Juniper Village at Brookline Rehabilitation and Skilled Care. Over the past 365 days, Juniper has led education days to all associates, created family letters to keep families up to date on the news at the community, and welcome new associates and leadership team members. Most of all, Juniper has welcomed new residents for both short and long term stays at the community. Over two hundred residents have comes to the community for short-term rehabilitation and have successfully returned to their previous living arrangements. Throughout the year, Juniper donated items to the local food bank, Meals on Wheels, Women’s Resource Centre, the Alzheimer’s Association, and many other charitable organizations. As with all months, December 2019 was a month of celebration leading up to the ringing of the New Year. December brought a gingerbread house-decorating contest, a Trail of Trees created by community organizations and Juniper departments, and themed days to keep the festivities high and joyful. Looking to 2020, events and news on the horizon include renovations to resident rooms and common spaces, campus wide highlighted events for the community to enjoy, and many other exciting experiences.
